Sadowsky MetroLine basses are manufactured true to the philosophy that the most important factor affecting the sound of a solid-body instrument is the acoustic quality of the wood. Available in a wide range of different finishes, the bodies are made of hand-selected American Swamp Ash, American Red Alder or Okoume. Each bass is equipped with Sadowsky hardware, the famous Sadowsky active electronics and Sadowsky pickups. All MetroLine models are manufactured in our carbon-neutral workshop in Germany.

Manufactured in Asia to our highest standards with ongoing quality controls, our MetroExpress basses combine lightweight Okoume bodies with Maple or Morado (Pau Ferro) fretboards. In addition to the standard models, the series includes many left-hand and fretless versions.

The preamp effects pedals bring that sound into a convenient stompbox format for any bass without the Sadowsky electronics.
