The Sadowsky MasterBuilt 24-Fret Single Cut Bass 5-string bass features a sleek single-cut style body made of chambered American Red Alder with a '59 Burst Transparent High Polish finish. The neck is made of Roasted American Maple and features a Morado (Pau Ferro) fingerboard. Special features on this bass include Sadowsky Soapbar pickups as well as Roger's famous electronics featuring a Preamp with switchable mid-boost and trim pot (choice of 500 Hz or 800 Hz, wide or narrow bandwidth), Vintage Tone Control and preamp bypass. Controls include Volume, Balance, VTC (P/P), Treble and Bass. The hardware includes a Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge and light open gear Sadowsky tuners. Made exclusively in Germany, a Sadowsky MasterBuilt 24-Fret Single Cut bass never weighs more than 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg). It’s a great choice for players who want a lightweight single-cut bass with that famous Sadowsky tone: strong, powerful bass that is never muddy. Mids that are present but not too aggressive and a sweet and airy treble range.

Body
The chambered Red Alder body offers you balanced, rounded and full-bodied tones with strong mids, and a warmer sound compared to Swamp Ash. Our workshop sources the best American Red Alder and specially chambers each body to reduce weight without sacrificing the tonal qualities.
Neck
A roasted maple neck featuring a double action truss rod for precise neck adjustment and two carbon fibre rods to reinforce the neck and maintain stability.
Fingerboard
The Morado (Pau Ferro) fingerboard on our MasterBuilt basses offer a sweet, warm and mellow sound with excellent tonal definition.
