Verdine White, famous bass player from "Earth, Wind & Fire" a band whose sound is significantly shaped by his powerful bass sound, chose Sadowsky to create his MetroLine Artist Line bass. Thanks to the electronics that Roger himself developed, this bass offers you that special modern Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill. A bass tone that is strong and powerful, but never muddy. Present, but never overly aggressive mids, and a sweet and airy treble range. This 5-string version features a passive P-Style pickup at the neck and a hum-cancelling J-Style pickup at the bridge. Additional features include electronics with true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, treble and bass boost, Sadowsky light open-gear tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String Release bridge. The sleek and undersized J-Style chambered body is made from American Swamp Ash and is finished in Solid Olympic White High Polish, without a pickguard. The neck is American Maple and has an American Maple fingerboard. Sadowsky Metroline Verdine White Artist Line basses are made exclusively in Germany. Each of these basses never weighs more than 8.9 lbs (4.0 kg), making it a a great choice for players who are looking for a lightweight bass with a modern sound.

The chambered Swamp Ash body is known for is bright, clear tone. We select the best American Swamp Ash for its unique resonant tonal qualities and striking grain patterns. Giving you a Sadowsky bass that both looks and sounds beautiful. For players who prefer a lighter bass.

A maple neck featuring a double action truss rod for precise neck adjustment and two carbon fibre rods to reinforce the neck and maintain stability.
