The Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Modern Bass is perfect for any player looking for a bass with modern looks and that famous Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet and airy treble range. This 5-string bass has a chambered Swamp Ash body. Seen here in an Antique Tobacco Transparent Satin finish, the body shape is sleek and undersized with deeper cutaways for better playability and a full two octave note range. The neck is made from American Maple and has an American Maple fretboard with 24 nickel silver frets. This bass is fitted with two passive Sadowsky Soapbar pickups, both in a modern position, and has active electronics that offer true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, as well as treble and bass boost. Hardware includes Sadowsky light open gear tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String Release bridge. Each Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Modern Bass is made exclusively in our workshop in Germany and weighs no more than 8.9 lbs (4.0 kg). The chambered Swamp Ash body is known for is bright, clear tone. We select the best American Swamp Ash for its unique resonant tonal qualities and striking grain patterns. Giving you a Sadowsky bass that both looks and sounds beautiful. For players who prefer a lighter bass.

A maple neck featuring a double action truss rod for precise neck adjustment and two carbon fibre rods to reinforce the neck and maintain stability.
