Sadowsky MetroLine basses are manufactured true to the philosophy that the most important factor affecting the sound of a solid-body instrument is the acoustic quality of the wood. Available in a wide range of different finishes, the bodies are made of hand-selected American Swamp Ash, American Red Alder or Okoume. Each bass is equipped with Sadowsky hardware, the famous Sadowsky active electronics and Sadowsky pickups. All MetroLine models are manufactured in our carbon-neutral workshop in Germany.

Sadowsky Parts - MetroLine & MasterBuilt complete VTC Electronic for Vintage M-Style Bass

This Sadowsky pre-wired onboard bass preamp is suitable for Sadowsky MetroLine and MasterBuilt Vintage M-Style basses. It features active 2-way electronics (boost only) with RFIP (Radio Frequency Interference Protection) for passive pickups. The 4-knob layout has controls for master volume, Vintage Tone Control (VTC), treble and bass with a push/pull function for preamp bypass on the VTC knob and one 3-way mini-switch for pickup configuration (serial / parallel / single coil). The frequency range is 5 Hz to 50 kHz. The bass knob offers +18 dB boost at 40 Hz and the treble knob offers +18 dB boost at 4 kHz. Total harmonic distortion (THD) 0.18% at 1 kHz. Powered by a 9V battery that consumes 9 mA, the battery can last up to 870 hours. Input impedance is 1 mOhm, output impedance is 1 kOhm.
