Sadowsky MetroLine basses are manufactured true to the philosophy that the most important factor affecting the sound of a solid-body instrument is the acoustic quality of the wood. Available in a wide range of different finishes, the bodies are made of hand-selected American Swamp Ash, American Red Alder or Okoume. Each bass is equipped with Sadowsky hardware, the famous Sadowsky active electronics and Sadowsky pickups. All MetroLine models are manufactured in our carbon-neutral workshop in Germany.

The preamp effects pedals bring that sound into a convenient stompbox format for any bass without the Sadowsky electronics.

Sadowsky Parts - MetroExpress complete electronics for Modern and Verdine White Artist Line Lefthand Basses

This Sadowsky MetroExpress pre-wired onboard bass preamp is suitable for left-hand Sadowsky MetroExpress Modern and Verdine White Artist Line basses, it features active 2-way electronics (boost only) for passive pickups. The 4-knob layout has controls for master volume / balance / treble and bass (p/p) with a preamp bypass via the bass knob's push/pull function. The frequency range is 5 Hz to 50 kHz. The bass knob offers +18 dB boost at 40 Hz and the treble knob offers +18 dB boost at 4 kHz. Total harmonic distortion (THD) 0.18% at 1 kHz. Powered by a 9V battery that consumes 9 mA, the battery can last up to 870 hours. Input impedance is 1 mOhm, output impedance is 1 kOhm.
