Features of this fretless bass include a light-weight solid Okoume body fitted with J/J pickups, finished in Tobacco Sunburst Transparent High Polish with a parchment pickguard, a roasted maple neck and a fretless morado fingerboard with full lines. Together this makes one formidable bass that you are going to love to play! Best of all, the accessible price gives you access to that famous Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet, airy treble.

Okoume gives you a bass that is not only light in weight but also very resonant, with a full, warm and round tone. We hand select each piece of Okoume to ensure a beautiful, even grain pattern and excellent tonal qualities. For players who prefer a lightweight bass.

Neck

A neck made from roasted maple that features a double action truss rod for precise neck adjustment.

Fingerboard

Our fretless Morado (Pau Ferro) fingerboard gives the Sadowsky MetroExpress bass a sweet, warm and mellow sound with good tonal definition.

A Sadowsky MetroExpress Quick String Release Bridge for quick and easy string changes. Features a chrome finish and 19 mm string spacing.
