Sadowsky MetroLine basses are manufactured true to the philosophy that the most important factor affecting the sound of a solid-body instrument is the acoustic quality of the wood. Available in a wide range of different finishes, the bodies are made of hand-selected American Swamp Ash, American Red Alder or Okoume. Each bass is equipped with Sadowsky hardware, the famous Sadowsky active electronics and Sadowsky pickups. All MetroLine models are manufactured in our carbon-neutral workshop in Germany.

In addition to the standard models, the series includes many left-hand and fretless versions.

Roger Sadowsky has made it his task to constantly improve the strings for his instruments and to adapt them to his high standards - the result are the Sadowsky strings for guitar and bass, which are offered in different versions and gauges for every taste.

The Sadowsky preamp pedals are based on the active onboard bass electronics that Roger Sadowsky developed himself decades ago. Since then, the legendary circuit has set the tone in all of his basses - highly versatile yet easy to control, powerful and well-balanced in all frequency ranges. The preamp effects pedals bring that sound into a convenient stompbox format for any bass without the Sadowsky electronics.
