Sadowsky MetroLine Deluxe 21-Fret Standard J/J Bass
The Sadowsky MetroLine Deluxe 21-Fret Standard J/J bass brings a new aspect to an already fantastic Sadowsky bass: a light, chambered Okoume wood body with a gorgeous flamed maple top and a roasted maple neck. This bass not only looks fantastic, it also plays beautifully! In terms of sound, the famous Sadowsky electronics give you that special Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful (but never muddy!) bass, mids that are present while not too aggressive, and a sweet and airy treble range. This 5-string left-hand version has a sleek, undersized J-Style body shape and is finished in an Almond Sunburst Transparent High Polish finish and has a Roasted American Maple neck with a Roasted American Maple fingerboard. Special features of this bass include two hum-cancelling Sadowsky J-Style pickups, active electronics with true bypass, treble and bass boost and Vintage Tone Control. It also features light open gear Sadowsky tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge. Made exclusively in our workshop in Germany, this bass weighs never more than 8.9 lbs (4.0 kg). A great choice for bass players looking for a beautiful and lightweight bass that offers a modern bass sound.
Construction
Body
The Deluxe body is made with an Okoume back for a resonant, full, warm and rounded sound, matched to a standard grade flamed maple top that offers a brighter tone. Each piece is hand selected to ensure tonal qualities and a beautiful grain patterns.
Neck
A roasted maple neck featuring a double action truss rod for precise neck adjustment and two carbon fibre rods to reinforce the neck and maintain stability.
Fingerboard
The roasted maple fingerboard on our MetroLine basses offer a crisper, tighter, brighter and more aggressive sound, making this bass perfect for funk and slap styles.
